My name is Maciej “Mac” Miechowicz. I wear a few hats – enterprise architect, developer, and team leader – but at the heart of it all, I just love solving tough problems. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to do that in all kinds of settings, from scrappy little startups to large global companies.
AI has been part of my toolkit for a while now, but if I’m honest, I used it in a pretty “surface-level” way – asking questions, generating snippets of code, and moving on. What I didn’t do was lean into its bigger potential: letting AI actually help build applications or make changes directly in my codebase. That gap is what pushed me to go on an AI upskill quest – to really explore what’s possible when you go beyond the basics. And since the road hasn’t been all smooth sailing, I decided to share the wins, the roadblocks, and the aha-moments here.
Outside of work and tech experiments, I’m a family guy. I’m married, with three amazing kids, and we love to travel—hopping into a car or plane, discovering new places, and soaking in the culture along the way. I’m also a big fan of sailing, though truth be told, I don’t get out on the water nearly as often as I’d like.
